In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edwin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Johnson Reid. He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Randall Reid, Jr. (Samantha Johnson) of Whitakers and Jackson Reid (Amber Godwin) of Whitakers; his father Edwin Willis Reid of Whitakers; his sister Whitney Reid Herbert; his grandchildren, Lily Grace and Maverick Boyce; and also Madison Lamprecht. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (1703 Reges Store Rd, Nashville, NC 27856). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
