It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Earl Womble (Nashville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 109, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Womble and Martha Ann Robbins Womble; her siblings, James Ernest Womble and Mattie Mae Womble Tudor; her sister-in-law Annie Ruth Whitley Womble; her nephew James Earl "Jim" Womble; and her great-nephew Lee Riley Tudor.

She is survived by: her niece Jo Ann Womble Stimson (Horace) of Westfield; and her nephew Bryant Tudor. She is also survived by 4 grandnieces; 1 grandnephew; 8 great grandnieces and nephews; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Francisco Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 15, Westfield, NC 27053.

Classy, sneaky smile and sense of humor, always said what was on her mind, loved desserts but pretended she shouldn't, energetic even after turning 100, fun to be around and wise even beyond her years. LOL Our thoughts and prayers are with Jo Ann, Bryant, Horace and the rest of the family. We will miss her, Love, Joe and Leonore.”
