He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aaron Evans and Sarah Carr Evans; his former wives, Angela Smith Evans and Brenda Nobles Evans; and his brother Tonnie Evans.
He is survived by: his daughter Emily Evans Bryan (Bradley) of Nashville; his granddaughter Keylea Summerlin; his brothers, James Evans, Dennis Evans of Nashville and Cudearl Evans of Nashville; his stepdaughters, Mandy Summerlin of Whiteville and Michelle Summerlin Mishoe of Whiteville; his stepgrandchildren, Cody Hester, Alex Mishoe and Kayden Summerlin; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Marleigh Hester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
