With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Kaye Joyner Deans of Nashville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her husband Starlon Randolph Deans, Sr.; her son Starlon Randolph "Randy" Deans, Jr.; her grandson Tracy Deans; her parents, Randolph Joyner and Hildred "Nanny" Joyner; and her brothers, J. C. Joyner and Doug Joyner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Joyner (George) and Amy Noland; her grandchildren, Stacey Deans, Reva Whitley (Ashley), Danyelle Noland, Mark Deans, Alex Noland (Blair) and Kayelon Joyner (Zach); her great grandchildren, Brycen, Xander, Kashton and Jake; and her sisters, Linda Modlin, Sherry Joyner and Elaine Perry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
