She is survived by: her husband Juan Alvarez; her children, Bo Harrington of Emerald Isle, Tammy Harrington (Rodney Sullivan) of Castalia, Laura Alvarez Wood (Randy) of Rocky Mount and Megan Alvarez (Ricky Walston) of Macclesfield; her sisters, Terry Gardner Holland (Phil) of Tarboro and Cathy Twiddy (Steve) of Tarboro; and her siblings-in-law, Angela Garris (Petey), Thomas Alvarez (Kathy) of Greenville and Daryl Alvarez (Sandi) of Greenville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
