She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Seeger and Ruth Seeger; and her brother Everett Seeger, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gupton; her daughter Melinda Murphy; her brothers, Frederick N. Seeger of Cary and David C. Seeger of Castle Hayne; and her granddaughters, Rebecca C. Murphy of Washington, DC and Kristen L. Murphy of Raleigh.
