He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher McLennon Long and Versie Watts Long; his sister Betty Long Phillips; his son-in-law Richard W.; and his grandfather Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Gervais Long Long of Nakina, NC; his children, Frankie Lynn Long-Martin of Nakina, NC, Donna Long of Whiteville, NC, Vicky Long Faulk (James C. Faulk, Jr.) of Tabor City, NC, Paul Kenneth Long of Nakina, NC and Ricky Ray Long (Michelle) of Nakina, NC; and his brother Oliver Long of Grass Valley, CA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing will be observed and the family encourages all attendees to wear a mask.
