He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelly Lee Long and Emmer Jane Long; and his sons-in-law, Alton Cribb, Robert Duff and Glenn Stephens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marie Duff of Whiteville, Kathy Cribb of Nakina, Betty Parnell (Donald) of Nakina, Delories Beck of Nakina, Eddie of Nakina and Tammy Stephens of Nakina; his grandchildren, Anthony Long, Donald Parnell, Jr., Heather Parnell and Linda Parnell Todd; his great grandchildren, Star Parnell, Brandall Parnell, Shane Dorsch, April Todd and Kaylee Todd; and his sisters, Ethal Marlow of Castle Hayne and Saddie Lee of Whiteville.
