He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Norman Keeter and Hilda Francis Langdale Keeter; and his stepdaughter Vicky Allen Lee. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Soles of Nakina; his stepchildren, William Joe Reaves of Nakina and Tina "Tiny" Allen Smith of Tabor City; his son-in-law Raymond O'Neil Lee of Nakina; and his siblings, Aubrey Chris Keeter, Norman Calvin Keeter, Eunice Hughes, Mary Alice Bazemore and Frances Lane.
