He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearson Ball and Nettie Ball; and his siblings, Allen Ball, David Ball, Richard Ball, Marvin Ball, Belva Ball and Emma Pons.
He is survived by: his wife Judith W. Ball; his children, John F. Ball, Jr. (Chrystal) of Nakina and Janet F. Hewett (Greg) of Nakina; his grandchildren, Andrew Hewett (Sarah), Amanda Thomas (Spencer), Alex Liao (Daniel), Emma Ball (Austin), Ashley Hewett and Pearson Ball; and his great grandchildren, Emilee Hewett, Ashlynn Hewett, Luke Hewett and Kyle Hewett.
