It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Evans of Nakina, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jackie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H Bingham and Ruth Pate Bingham; and her sister Karen Scruggs. She is survived by: her husband Billy Evans; her son Kenneth Bingham; her sister Sandra Crump; and her grandchildren, Cody Bryan Bingham and Desiree Taylor Bingham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Happy Home Baptist Church (2670 Happy Home Rd, Nakina, NC 28455).
