With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Formy Duval of Nakina, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde Smith and Geneva Cooke Smith; her grandchild Dillon Jackson; and her brother Kenneth Smith. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Formy Duval; her daughters, Lynette Alumbaugh of Little River, SC and Karla Moore (Raymond) of Chadbourn; her grandchildren, Ayrielle Jackson (Adele), Amber Miller (Ty), Grant Bartlett and Jasmine Swann; her great grandchild Macey Miller; her siblings, Donald Smith (Donna) of Gastonia, Gary Smith (Susie) of Loris, SC, Jean Marangelli (Pat Tyler) of Loris, SC, Frances Anderson (Jerry) and Marsha Smith Fowler of Loris, SC; her sister-in-law Priscilla Smith; and her caregiver CeCe. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
