It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Suggs of Nakina, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Evans and Ethel Long Evans; her husband Mitchell Morris Stephens; and her son Mitchell Glenn Stephens. She is survived by: her son Barry M. Stephens (Kristie); her grandchildren, Heather Thys (Caio Santee), Kira Rouse (Kevin), Naomi Stephens, Anthony Long, Amanda Vest Tiffany (Richard) and Robert Perritt; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Corso, Lincoln Corso, Kiara Muse, Shianne Muse, Dakoda Muse, Isabo Rouse, Alexis Vest, Mason Vest, Kenzie Wiram, Adelina Beck, Tristin Perritt and Baylee Huskey.
