He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Buck Parnell and Ada Joyce Lane. He is survived by: his wife Betty Long Parnell; his children, Donald Parnell, Jr. (Windy) of Nakina, Heather Parnell of Nakina and Linda Parnell Todd (Bradley) of Tabor; his siblings, Buckie Parnell (Tracey) of Clarkton and Debbie Yarborough (Joe) of Clarkton; and his grandchildren, Star Parnell, Brandall Parnell, Shane Dorsch, April Parnell and Kaylee Todd. He is also survived by three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces.
