We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2023, at the age of 33, Charles Christopher Whaley of Nakina, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Lee Whaley (Lorie Ann) of Nakina and Patricia Dawn Chavis of Whiteville; his siblings, John Aaron Hines of Clarendon, Nicole Hines of Whiteville, Rebecca LeeAnn Whaley of Nakina and Christina Waggle (Andy) of Beaverdam; his grandfather Steve Chavis (Vivian) of St. Pauls; and his close friend Nathan McDevitt. He is also survived by one loving niece and eight loving nephews.
