He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Reaves and Mae Belle Faulk Reaves; his wife Mary Ellen Stevens Reaves; and his sister Smithie Long. He is survived by: his daughters, Velvet Hardwick (Daryl) of Nakina and Misty Caines (Dexter) of Nakina; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Caines, Meredith Hardwick, Ty Hardwick and Jared Caines. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
