We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 86, Betty McKeithan of Nakina, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fonice Warwick and Cynthia Warwick; her husband Claude McKeithan; and her sisters, Christine Patterson, Sadie Lee and Katie Connor.

She is survived by : her children, Kyle McKeithan (Penny) of Roxboro, NC, Marsha McKeithan of Nakina, NC and Fonda Strickland (Mike) of Creedmoor, NC; her sister Angela Hartis of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Marcus McKeithan (Ashley), Tiffany Tilley, Ryan Strickland, Amber McKeithan and Paige Strickland; and her great grandchildren, Gage Tilley, Oaklyn Tilley, Avery Hight and Myles McKeithan.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home's Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
