With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Phillips of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marion and Lela Acres Phillips; and her son Jacob Cody Coleman. She is survived by: her daughter Beth Coleman McDonald; her siblings, Bryan Phillips (Ronda) and Brenda Phillips (Paul "Bones" Robinson); her grandchildren, Ashlyn Graves (Westley), Bailey Brown (Dylan Stroud) and Elynor McDonald; her great grandchild Everett Graves; and her nephews, Hayden and Carson Phillips. She is also survived by her grandkids, great-grandson, and her nephews.
