Joyce Elaine English Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 64, Joyce Elaine English of Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Broadus Dockery, Jr. and Dorothy Worley Dockery. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" English; her sons, Caleb English (Krysta) of Murphy, Gavin English of Murphy and Levi English (Hannah) of Murphy; her sisters, Doris Smith of Hayesville, Wanda Dockery (Maxey) of Copperhill, TN, Ruth Dockery (Mark) of Murphy and Mary Murphy (David) of Blairsville, GA; and her grandchildren, Kynadee, Abigaile, Asher and Archie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grape Creek Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grape Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Marvin Shuler, 1340 Grape Creek Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
