With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Mack Foust of Murphy, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Foust and Florence Heatherly Foust; and his siblings, Carl, Avia Mae and Leomia.
He is survived by: his wife Rozena Bryant Foust; his children, Janet Foust Rose (Michael) of Aiken, SC and Michael Foust of Clarkesville, GA; his grandchildren, Eddie Foust (Geri) of Lawrenceville, GA, Rebecca Michele Hickman of Aiken, SC, Christopher Rose (Mollie) of Aiken, SC and Jared Foust of Stone Mountain, GA; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn of Aiken, SC, Hunter of Aiken, SC, Olivia Hickman of Aiken, SC, Ellie Kate of Aiken, SC and Samuel Rose of Aiken, SC; and his brother Herbert Foust of Hammond, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church (1650 NC-141, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
