He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Suzie Mashburn Carroll; and his sister Shirley Moss. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cole Carroll; his children, Raymond Carroll, DJ Carroll and Jena Carroll; his adoptive children, Justice, Devonte and Adam; his sister Pat Swanson; and his grandchildren, Haizley Hill and Kimberlynn Hill.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Murphy High School (234 High School Cir, Murphy, NC 28906). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
