We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2024, at the age of 82, Ivan Chapman (Murphy, North Carolina), born in Cherokee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Chapman and Atha Mashburn Chapman; his former wife Sue James Chapman; and his brothers, James "Fattie" Chapman of Brevard and Eugene Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Chapman; his sons, Daryl Chapman (Suzanne), Eric Chapman (Michelle), Todd Chapman (Christy) and Brent Chapman; his stepson Mike Jenkins; his siblings, Faye Green (Tom) and T. W. (Donna); his grandchildren, Mallory Chapman, Ives, Chandler Chapman, Abby, Katy Chapman, Maria and Knox Chapman; and his great grandchildren, Blakley, Layla Bateman and Khaleel Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to the Copperhill Masonic Lodge #656, 148 Main Street Copperhill, TN 37317.
