She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Emory and Ruby Irene White Gladson; her husband Cecil C. Allen; and her siblings, Johnny Gladson, Rethel Rogers and Loretta Gladson.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrel Allen (Debbie) and Danny Allen (Marcia); her siblings, Jimmy Gladson and Jean LeFevers (Hoyt); her grandchildren, Cody Allen (Shanelle), Caleb Allen (Kayliegh), Mathew Allen and Chris Allen (Cait); and her great grandchildren, Adriana Allen, Ezra Allen, Elijah Allen, Ruthie Allen, Isla Allen and Rhyatt Allen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elrod Family Cemetery.
