He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fountain and Lillie Sapp Fountain; and his siblings, Edward Fountain, Jr., Alan Fountain and Cora Bell Tallman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy McAllister Jones; his daughters, Lisa Harris (Rich) and Stephanie Taegar-Matus; and his granddaughters, Alyssa Taegar-Matus and Madison Taegar-Matus.
