He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Scaggs and Verline Hall Scaggs; and his brother Ronald Scaggs. He is survived by: his wife Ann McLemore Scaggs of Murphy; his children, Kelly Scaggs of Murphy, Sam Scaggs of Darien, GA. and Kenny Scaggs of Dublin, GA.; his sisters, Pam Laster and Jackie (Warren Frazier); and his grandchildren, Marybeth Brown, Emma Scaggs, Dawson Scaggs, Max Steckelberg and Brileigh Scaggs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or to Gospel Link or Bob Gass Ministry in Don's memory.
