He was predeceased by: his parents, Crede Louis Reid, Sr. and Mamie Floyd Reid; and his siblings, Jack, Clyde Reid and Nancy Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Brian (Melissa) of Murphy and Erik (Stephanie) of Murphy; his granddaughters, Emily (Tim), Rachel, Ali and Natalie; his brother Bill Reid of Benton, TN; and his close friends, Rev. Lawrence English and Rev. Calvin Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
