Carolyn Lillie McDonald Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 77, Carolyn Lillie McDonald of Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mabry and Myrtle Chastain Mabry; and her husband Kenneth McDonald. She is survived by: her son Dwayne Buchanan (Cindy) of Murphy; her siblings, James Mabry of Murphy and Mary Lou Chastain (Ben) of Murphy; her grandson Wesley Burchanan (Mollie Cornwell); her great grandchild Maisie Buchanan; her nieces, Sheila Dockery (Mike) and Amber Wall (Eric); and her nephew Keith Ownbey. She is also survived by several grandnephews, one grandniece, and one great nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
