With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Norwood of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Kaylor Norwood and Carl Norwood; his wife Rita Norwood; and his brother Randall Norwood. He is survived by: his son Chris Norwood (Coral); his granddaughter Calliope Norwood; his great grandchild Jade Cook; and his siblings, Debbie Buckner (Cleveland), Nicky Norwood (Sherri) and Cleveland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
