He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Edward and Mildred Ruth Starks; his spouse Shirley Dillard Starks; and his brother Clyde Starks Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Starks of Hiawassee Dam and Jeremy Starks of Hiawassee Dam; his siblings, Sissy Biryd of Mars Hills, NC and Alex Starks of Hiawassee Dam; his grandchildren, Madison Starks, Silas Starks, Kennedy Starks, Chandler Starks, Shirdale Torres and Selena Torres; and his great grandchildren, Myah and Carson Starks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
