He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Lee Lowdermilk Cox and Nelson Bruton Cox; and his sister Mary Cox Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McDuffie Cox; his son Thomas Grayson Cox; and his sister Billie Cox Harrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
