He is survived by: his wife Jane Britt Burke of Wilson; his children, Robert "Rob" Joseph Burke, Jr. (Neily) and Ashlyn Burke-Metheny (Andrew); his granddaughters, Mina and Marissa Burke; and his siblings, Geraldine Iacovo, Donna Carr (Mac), Connie Moseley, Samuel Britt (Merle) and Howard Britt (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
