She is survived by: her daughter Megan Stallings of Murfreesboro, NC; her grandchildren, Kane Pearson of Murfreesboro, NC, Zackary Pearson of Kingsport, TN and Zoe Stallings of Windsor, NC; and her sisters, Cleo Bass of Franklin, VA and Edna Hoggard of Conway, NC..
A reception will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (314 W Main St, Murfreesboro, NC 27855).
Her work ethic carried over into civilian life, where she dedicated many years to grading peanuts—an essential contribution to the agricultural community that surrounded her home.
