He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Taylor Vann and Nora Dukes Vann. He is survived by: his children, Heidi Davenport of Sussex, NJ and Darryl Vann of Virginia Beach, VA; and his siblings, Emma Hill of Ahoskie, NC, Lorine James (Frances) of Virginia Beach, VA and McDonald Vann of Ahoskie. He is also survived by one grandson; one great grandson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
