It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Theodorakis Evans (Murfreesboro, North Carolina), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anastasia "Susy" Boutsouka Theodorakis and Konstantious "Gus" Theodorakis; her husband Dale; her children, Amber Nieradka (Ryan) of Raleigh, NC and Timothy Evans (Allie) of Murfreesboro; her granddaughter Brynn Nieradka; her siblings, Tim (Lisa Theodorakis) of Newark, DE and Rita Erickson (David) of Garner, NC; and her uncle Billy Theodorakis of Murfreesboro.
Due to circumstances with COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family celebration of life graveside service on Saturday, April 18, 2020, 11:00 am at the Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, NC, with Rev. John Porter officiating.
