He is survived by: his wife Alberta Newton Everett of Raleigh, NC; his children, Starr Ramsey (Jack), Debora Renee Everett-Jones (Darren) of Bronx, NY, Phyllis Jean Worthington of Raleigh, NC, Stephen Newton of Raleigh, NC, Michael Everett (Sarah) and John Thomas; and his siblings, Alice Powell of Murfreesboro, NC, Sylvia Murphy of Rich Square, NC, Joyce Lundy of Franklin, VA, Clarence Everette (Evelyn) of Como, NC and Dariel (Jeanette) of Ahoskie, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren; (1) great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
