It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Gibbs Vincent of Murfreesboro, North Carolina, born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh C. Vincent, Jr. of Southampton County; her son Kevin Douglas Vincent; her parents, Norma Burnette Gibbs and George E. Gibbs; her brother Douglas Gibbs; and her great grandchild Lily Grace Morhard.
She is survived by: her children, Dane Vincent, Dean Vincent, Carol Vincent Miller, Christina Vincent and Hugh C. Vincent, III; her grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Laura, Elizabeth, Christopher Vincent, Matthew, Brian Vincent, Emilie Mortensen Boone, Rebecca Mortensen, Lucas Mortensen, Jamie Vincent Morhard and Aaron Vincent; her friend Janet; and also Kathie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Murfreesboro Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall at the Church.
