She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Deanes and Minnie Wood Deanes. She is survived by: her children, Alice E. Jones of Farmville, NC, Jackie L. Eley of Murfreesboro, NC, April E. Jackson (Jack) of Oxen Hill, MD and Herbert C. Eley of Ahoskie, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM.
