It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlene Perry Davis (Murfreesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Winborne Perry and Hattie Copeland Perry (Clyde Wilmer Davis); her son Kenneth Clyde Davis; her grandson Kris Davis; and her sisters, Elsie Harrison, Jean Castellow, Edie Perry and Judy Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Wilmer Davis; her children, Susan Hope Davis (Larry) of Murfreesboro, Raymond Lee Davis (Becky) and Stephen Wayne Davis (Judy) of Pendleton; her grandchildren, Michelle Burgess of Conway, Jennifer Snipes (Dustin), Kimberly Davis of Charlotte, NC, Melisa Holloman (Brad) of Jackson, Michael Davis (Jeanie) of Murfreesboro, Kenn Davis II of Charlottesville, VA, Timothy Davis (Emily) of Murfreesboro, Tyler Davis (Suzanne) of Wilson, Frank Davis (Kelsey) of Hamburg, AR and Joseph Holloman of Murfreesboro; her great grandchildren, Hayley B. Draper (Brent) of Conway, Taelynn Davis of Hamburg, AR, KensLee Davis, Holden Burgess of Conway and Bonham Smith of Charlottesville, VA; her great great grandchildren, Henry Cox of Jackson and Waylan Draper of Conway; her brother Earl Perry of Fairfax, VA; her brother-in-law Elwood Harris of Ahoskie; and her pet Peaches.
