He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sister Hilda Brett Drake of Newsoms, VA; his children, Deborah Brett Lane (David) of Murfreesboro, Wanda Brett Jordan (Larry) of Kitty Hawk, NC and Edwin "Jerry" Jerome Brett (Michel) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Jason Brett (Kelly) of Cornelius, NC, Justin Brett (Catherine) of Raleigh, NC, Gabriel Jordan of Wilmington, NC, Josh Lane (Erica) of Murfreesboro, NC, Ryan Craven (Laura) of Raleigh, NC, Abby Harkey (Justin) of Arlington Heights, IL. and Shelley Farmer (Joseph) of Wylie, TX; and his great grandchildren, Noah Brett, John Robert Brett, Brooks Brett, Atticus Harkey, Sumner Harkey, Gatsby Harkey, Elijah Farmer, Nolan Craven, Addison Lane, Maci Lane, Emmy Brett and Ava Craven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
