He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Grace Graham Brown of Palm Beach, FL; his parents, Bynum Henry Brown and Grace Pearce Brown; his sister Grace Clements Brown Boone of Raleigh, NC; his wife Shirley Graham Brown; and his sister Jane Vaughan Brown Pritchard of Henderson, NC.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
This award was presented by the North Carolina Baptist State Convention, the North Carolina Baptist Foundation and the Council of Christian Higher Education.
