She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Duke; and her grandson Thomas Duke Benthall. She is survived by: her daughter Tula Polvadore (Don) of Ahoskie; her granddaughter Abigail Wilkins (Dylan); her great grandchild Harrison of Chesapeake, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Smallfelt of Littleton, NC and Linda Williams (Edward) of Colerain. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
