It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Marie Horton Harrell (Murfreesboro, North Carolina), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Horton and Arthur Robert Horton; her husband George Thomas Harrell; her son Stewart A. Harrell; her sisters, Lillie Gray Wells and Jane Daniels; and her grandson Alex Harrell.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale A. Harrell (Sissy) of Murfreesboro and Thomas A. Harrell (Pat) of Margarettsville; her siblings, Linda Bristow of Ahoskie and Arthur Lee Horton (Sandy) of Rich Square; her grandchildren, Brad Harrell of Murfreesboro, Lee Smith of Raleigh, Jordan Harrell of Greenville, Austin Harrell of Rocky Mount, Kim Ray (Randy) of Milwaukee and Melissa White (Nate) of Rich Square; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Ray of Milwaukee and Ryan Ray of Milwaukee.
