He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haven Gibbs and Emma Mae Satterthwait Gibbs; and his brother Thomas Gibbs. He is survived by: his fiancée Janet Respass; his children, Amber Gibbs and Adam Gibbs; his sisters, Christine Williams and Ann Williams; and his grandchild Courtney Gibbs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Home (333 George Washington Hwy S, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
