He was predeceased by: his parent Norman B., Sr.; his wife Rene Ballance; his daughter Sandy Ballance Taylor; and also Portress Ballance. He is survived by: his parent Joan Creekmore Ballance; his granddaughters, Ashlyn Taylor of Manns Harbor and Amanda Taylor; his great grandchild Jameson Wentz; his son-in-law Brent Taylor; and his brother Bobby Bell (Ann) of Shawboro.
