She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Garrett Jenkins and Henry Napoleon Jenkins; her siblings, Margaret Morgan, William Jenkins, Sr., Julia Logan, Charlie Jenkins, Rufus Jenkins, Tullie Jenkins, Ola Forbes of Virginia and Emma Reid; her husband James Dett Gregory, Sr.; and her daughter Jacquelyn Gregory Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton S. Gregory (Valerie) and James D. Gregory, Jr. (Sheila); and her grandchildren, Keith A. Gregory (Michelle), David Reed, Chanelle G. Pettaway (Treva), Jasmine Hazelton Gregory, Dayreun Robertson (Marquita) and E. Tirrell Robertson (Jodi). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, several devoted nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
