He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Hunt; his parents, Raymond Clifford Hunt and Florence Vira Hunt; his brother Earnest Leroy Hunt; and his half-brother Harold "Corky" Hunt.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Nancy McCurley (Jordan) of Moyock, NC and Lisa Dennis (Mitch) of Aydlett, NC; his sons, William "Bill" John Hunt (Helen Lynn) of Sunbury, NC and Larry Irving Hunt, Jr. of Whitmore Lake, MI; and his sisters, Thelma Nemeth of North Port, FL and Karen Hunt. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
