He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lewis Gibbs and Betty Jean Miller Gibbs. He is survived by: his fiancée Teresa Acree; his daughter Dana Gibbs Taylor (Steven) of Greenville, NC; his sisters, Norma J. Gibbs Sanderlin of Supply, NC and Phyllis Gibbs Barnett of Franklin, VA; and his grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Amber Anderson, McCoy Taylor and Everly-Kate Taylor.
