Carol Tynes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Tynes of Moyock, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Tynes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Flora Ballance and Bryan Ballance; her brother Norman Bryan Balance; and her husband George William Tynes III. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Lynn Tynes of Elizabeth City, NC, Bonnie Tynes Christie of Lantana and Sheri Tynes Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; and her grandchildren, Sean Christie, Carrie Lynn Christie, Gordon Brown and Jackson Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moyock Memorial Cemetery (230 Caratoke Hwy, Moyock, NC 27958).
In honor of Carol's love for animals, memorials may be made to your local animal shelter in her name and in honor of George, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society.
