He is survived by: his parents, Roger Steven "Steve" and Wanda Newton Hampton of Taylorsville, NC.; his wife Katherine "Kari" Lawson Hampton; his grandmother Naomi Richey Newton; his mother-in-law Katherine "Kathy" Whitlock Lawson; and his brother-in-law Kevin Whitlock Lawson. He is also survived by his wife, daughter and parents.
