It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Brown Jones of Mount Ulla, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Belk and Nancy Childress Belk; her husband William Walter Jones; her daughter Rebecca Jones Lipscomb; her son-in-law Linwood Lipscomb; and her son William Wayne Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances Oliphant (Gerald); her daughter-in-law Anne Jones; and her sister Decie Davis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren.
